Mnews2006
I met a lady thru an online service, link removed. We exchanged e-mails and then she told me she would like to meet me in person. She sent me a website with her pictures. She told me that her phone would be in the "third" page of that website. The website also contained pictures of a very attractive blonde, claiming that was her. THe problem is that in order to enter the third page of her website and retrieve more pictures and her phone#, a membership is required. Then I would need to INPUT A CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in order to be checked and get such GLOBAL ADULT PASS membership ID. I was concerned that was a hoax. Anyone here ever heard such about GLOBAL ADULT PASS and story above is a common hoax/scheme to get money from people ? Link to comment
MetallicAguy
That's a hoax don't put in your card's #. I've never heard of it but I guarantee that is a hoax of some kind. Link to comment
polaris
That has hoax written all over it. If she wants you to have her phone number, she can just e-mail it to you! There's no reason to do it in such a convoluted way except to scam you. Avoid (and yes, I have heard of this particular one before). Link to comment
Meow18
I agree with the others. It's not worth the risk. If she really wanted to get to know you, she would just give you her number. I wouldn't trust any site that asks for your credit card information, especially if you aren't sure whether it's a hoax or not. Link to comment
CATLOVER
Yup, just someone using the dating sites to pull some customers in Id say. Link to comment
Mnews2006
Absolutely. I would never put my credit card info there. Smart people online, aren't they ? She was so smart to keep a conversation going for weeks, making things look very natural. I will post "her" website here. I doubt that is really her in the pictures: link removed Link to comment
darkblue
I see why she attracted your interest... Link to comment
lunatic
I have seen this scam before. I got a convincing email once and I almost fell for it. Don't do it because as everyone else said if she wanted you to know her number she would have given you it. Link to comment
RayKay
It's a definite hoax! It's a "front" to get your credit card information and bill/spam you for whom knows what. As soon as she said you could get her number by going onto her website...it was a big red blinking sign with hoax written all over it! Link to comment
darkblue
Should we report this..? Link to comment
Dating Coach
It's not worth the risk. If she really wanted to get to know you, she would just give you her number. Best answer on this thread right here. Link to comment
BellaDonna
It's definitely a hoax. And by the rare chance it wasn't -if Iwere you, I'd be very weary of dating any woman that demands your credit card that eary in the relationship. The pics and caption with them are so fake looking too. BellaDonna Link to comment
darkblue
I know this is trivial and doesn't really make a difference. But, it's written: I thought I should start with a pic my friend Nicole took of me. Well... Here I am! But in the picture you can clearly see her arm is stretched upward; taking the picture of herself. Possibly with a camera-phone/webcam. Link to comment
Markers
T_T doesn't "Global Adult Pass" tell you everything you need to know? I guess that's somehow related to porn etc. so even incase the girl was real, I'd stay away from her.. it's moronic to think that "global adult pass" could prevent her pics from "ending up everywhere" as she says, because who have that pass? Not the decent guys who are looking for a date and a relationship... no, but those whose sex life takes place around their computers.. they do have that pass. And then the pics will end up everywhere. That's hoax, stay away from it. Link to comment
sandstorm77
Here is an e-mail got got from link removed Hey Joe , just got your email, don't have time to write ya back but you can call me, my # is on here now if you want to call me tonight. You have no excuse this time...lol link removed Well, I'm going to go work out, but get back to me if your still interested! Jenny =o) Link to comment
Markers
well call her and see what happens? I must admit that she's acting a bit weird to me.. she seems to be so eager to share her pics and tell you that she works out so that she's hot etc...... and she didn't have time to email you back properly? Well call her and I guess you'll find out. Don't give away your credit card information! Link to comment
wlfpack81
FAKE, FAKE, FAKE PEOPLE. They pray on losers like us who are so low and depressed that we go to dating services w/the last hope of meeting someone. Forget stupid online datings sites, they stink and they have a lot of fake profiles to try and real in the possible gullable guys who are fed up w/being lonely. Better to try and ask a coworker or other friend at work to set you up w/someone. Link to comment
Grey
Hey Joe , just got your email, don't have time to write ya back but you can call me, my # is on here now if you want to call me tonight. You have no excuse this time...lol link removed Well, I'm going to go work out, but get back to me if your still interested! Jenny =o) I just found this thread after doing a web search for her page. The message you got is identical to the one she sent to me, with the exception of the URL. I was sent to the same page as Mnews2006. It's interesting that she has two different pages, and two different favorite colors. Anyone who falls for this, deserves the lesson they're going to learn. Link to comment

Grey
In fact, I'd bet her initial response to me is also a simple cut-and-paste job. Here it is, if anyone wants to compare: Link to comment
sandstorm77
that is the sam exact e-mail i got.......................lol i am curious to as what her number is. I am willing to bet it is a 800 number Link to comment
Grey
I'd be surprised if the third page and phone number even existed. This GAP page lists all of the sites to which you'll have access. "Jenny" isn't at all specific about where you should go after you log in. link removed Link to comment
Itsok
Put two and two together here: She's hot, blonde and attractive. AND She's single AND Using lavalife??? Checkmark to hoax. Link to comment
Kyoshiro Ogari
If you have to pay to see her pictures then it is a hoax, plain and simple. If you are old enough, go to an adult site and notice the similarities. Basically, those pics she had were previews to get you to join her site. Link to comment
