January 2017 my dad took me to swim with the Dolphins at Dolphinaris!

 

There was one Alia! Beautiful ten year old Bottled nose Dolphin!! I have pictures of her and I.

 

Well I went weak when i saw on the news she died today of unknown causes!

 

It hit hard! I mean it's not like I swam with her everyday or she's my pet! It still hurts because the hour I got to be with her, was incredible! The sweetest creature to exist! She was gentle, loving and playful. I don't know if I'm just feeling emotional tonight! But that really bothered me hearing about her.

Thank you! You're right it's about the connection. We had a very special connection. I remember the trainer had each individual spend a few minutes just looking into her eyes. I kept calling her " Beautiful girl." She looked at me as if she understood. Dolphins are very intelligent, so maybe?
