anon78
I got a voice-mail from my work asking me to come in for a few hours on my day off. However, I did not receive the message until way later. I don't want them to feel like I don't care to help them out when they're in need but there wasn't anything I could do about the situation once I got it. Do I need to bring it up to them or should I just save the explanation for when they ask me about it? (if they ever do, this happened once before and they never mentioned it and didn't seem to care). I just don't want to give them a bad impression. Link to comment
SpottiOtti
I would explain the situation to whoever left you the message. Never hurts to be sure they know you take your job seriously. Link to comment
oitnb
I would mention it, so they know you care. It wouldn't hurt. Link to comment
