abysmal
Still too soon? I had a really nice date with someone and I totally withheld emotional or physical advances - as I should have - and she wants to see me again. I feel like I should kiss her on the cheek at least, or attempt to hold her hand, to build desire or to affirm my romantic interest. Don't want to again revert to being a friend. This may seem silly but just understand that I am shy and give these things a lot of thought. But is this something I should avoid until a few dates later? Would I behave in a manner too forward in expressing myself romantically? Link to comment
missmarple
I think a kiss on the cheek or holding someone's hand is fine for a second date. Don't overthink it Link to comment
PeopleOfTheSun
Yes go for it! A kiss on the cheek is fine, as is holding hands or putting your arm around her. If you feel it's right a kiss on the lips is even better, but just don't stick your tongue down her throat. A nice soft kiss on the lips will do. Link to comment
abysmal
Thanks guys. I went on a second date but I just couldn't. I really wanted to but a part of me felt like I might make it awkward and I almost wanted to ask for her permission. Link to comment
