alohalove18
Today I got on facebook and saw a picture of my ex with his "best friend" (who is a girl) at her family's Christmas Eve party. It makes me absolutely sick. I always thought there was something weird between them. Now that they are both newly single, I guess they have been hanging out a lot. I just don't understand why she would post that picture knowing that both me and her ex would both see it. The worst part of it all was that he told me a couple of months ago that he didn't know if he would come to MY family's Christmas Eve party this year because he "wanted to spend time with his dad". This is such BS. I really didn't want to be sad on Christmas, but now I can't help it. Link to comment
silversoul
Well as much as it hurts, he is single and he can be friends who ever he wants to be with. Took me long to accept, but it their right to be friends whoever they wish to be with Link to comment

Not willing to make an effort to come to YOUR family's xmas eve party is a huge red flag. Been there. Feel ya. I would strongly recommend blocking them both AND any mitual friends on fb.. Romeo November
She wanted to show off her happiness and hurt you a bit as well for hurting her best friend. He gave you an excuse/lied to you rather than not tell you he was doing something else. Do not take up your time to think about it and just continue to move on. Link to comment
pebbles111
Leave them to it. Move on. Don't make your life about them. Link to comment
Twidom
You may not see it now, but this is actually a blessing in disguise. The last gasp of hope you have/had, even if you didn't notice, is dead now. Link to comment
metrogirl
Maybe it's time to remove all remnants of them from your social media. You will only make yourself sick constantly checking. Link to comment
