Feeling helpless.

I try to have my cats in by 4 pm. It's now past 6 and one of my cats isn't back. I'm very worried and scared and feeling completely helpless.

 

I don't want to let them outside. My mom and brother refuse to let them be indoor cats, so there's nothing I can do, before you say anything.

 

I'm just upset right now. I know nobody can help me but I just needed to let this out. : (

 

If anything's happened to him my life is going to be absolutely ruined and thrown into upheaval. I can't even stand the thought that something's happened to him. I don't know why this is happening to me right now.

I have had to go out to get my big lad in ...he sits in a bush crying and I have carry him home ,honestly.

 

I know how you feel , just have a walk around calling him

Whew. I feel stupid. He just came in 10 minutes ago.

 

I was really getting scared.

 

I wish I could just keep them in. I go through this once a month. : (

I get this. Our cats are outdoor cats. But if they aren't in for breakfast in the morning I panic because they love food so much. They always show up eventually though after I've had a good panic.

I was absolutely terrified, even cried a bit. I was just imagining the worst.

 

I really don't want them outside, but it's not my choice, I'm outvoted. : (

And I don't know why, but I looked at the cat carriers while I was scared he was gone and just broke down. It makes no sense what triggers me.
