What exactly is No Contact

 

My exGF calls me everyday...I dont know why but maybe she's just being curious why am i not calling her (she's been initiating the contact for 8 days now) we talk about other things not about the relationship...but i do keep the conversation short happy and light.

 

Since I am not initiating all the contact is this considered NC?

I think no contact actually means no contact-- as in none, at all. Except of course for emergencies or something.

 

Don't quote me on that or anything-- I've never actually successfully done the NC thing. Probably because I'm something of a codependent. Hah.

i think you are doing ok just by the fact that she is calling you........ keep it light like you have been oh and maybe dont answer every time return the call the next day with the "what's up"? then she has to by obligation of your question state why she called.

I'm pretty sure that no contact means no calling, writing, visiting, iming, text messaging, emailing...NOTHING. If she keeps calling you, you should not answer the phone when she calls so that you'll have the time that you need to heal. If you keep talking to her, she might think that there's a chance that you two will get back together...(I'm not sure if you wanted out, or she did or both). Hope this helps.
