I did it..it wasnt to bad . a few emails back and forth.kept it light. told me to hold on to her stuff..is this a good sign? i have no idea But i was able to fell like I got a little closure.Even invited her to my new house warming party! Man I feel alot better I think

Don't worry so much about breaking the "NC Rule." First of all, it's not a rule, but a choice that people make. NC isn't always the way to go, but in your case I think NC would best benefit you both - not forever, but for a few weeks or so. I think after that time, LC (yes, that's LIMITED CONTACT) would put you in a better position. Once she starts coming your way, back off some . . .

Craig said it perfect. You are fine for the moment. But what happens if she doesnt call you back or doesnt attend your party. Right back to square one. Let her initiate contact, then you know its true.

 

Try not to hold on to false hopes. It is a real heart breaker.
