Need help or to be talked out of it

Okay here goes there is this girl I go to school with we would talk occasionally but not often. Now in the last year she has talked and hung around me more then ever. I've started to develop a crush on her and I'm not sure if she feels the same or sees me as a knew friend so my question is whether or not she likes me ?

 

Reasons why I think she might:

She and I are going in a group to prom and she Suggested that me and her go together.

 

She has told me I am very funny

 

She has said on multiple occasions that I can trust her and tell her anything and anytime.

 

She occasionally sends me pics of her.

 

She knows I have a crush on someone and pesters me about who it is when I won't tell her.

 

She touches me a lot in playful ways and hugs me sometimes if she feels I'm sad or she is.

 

Generally tries to sit by me or comes over to talk to me.

 

Confides In me problems and feelings about things that bother her.

 

Reasons I think she don't currently has a boyfriend.

 

So any input would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading

yeah go for it, she definitely likes you. If you don't go for it now, what possible situation would you ever?

It looks like you could be in. I'd ask her out. If she says yes, congrats. If she says no, it happens. Of course it will sting a little, but you will move on. It's better to have tried and failed (although the indications here look good) than to not have tried at all. You don't have much, if anything, to lose.

Nope. The OP is you presuming she may or may not have a bf. If you really don't know, ask her out. If you know she has a bf, then don't.

Alright so I found out through a mutual friend she has a bf. So forget this and don't ask or out and simply remain friends or what ?
