I lived in a country where 80% of the population is catholic. It's also very common in this country to get your ears pierced as a baby. Since people in my religion don't wear jewelry, everyone else that wears jewelry is catholic. >80% of them anyway.

actually, the assumption is more like, "he/she has no jewelry they must be SDA" because the population is so predominantly catholic that it's pretty much assumed.

 

Things are just different over there. When I first came back to the US, I thought all the women looked like gay men because only gay men over there where makeup. Women don't wear makeup.
