How can I forget her past??

I have been with my gf for 3 months now and we are both 18, she is 10 months older. I really love her but there is some things that get in the way of this. First of all she went out with my ex best friend and she has had sex with him and other guys and this just really bothers me and I have just recently learned to deal with it and except it. Just when I thought I knew everything about her past, she tells me that 2 years ago she used think she was bi sexual and did some sexual stuff with girls also. I was shocked and surprised. I was disappointed I thought she was a better person than that. She told me it was cause she was influenced from a young age and by her friends and she didnt realize it was wrong. I dont know how to deal with this, its really difficult and I dont wanna leave her, I wanna get through this cause I love the person she is now. I just hate her past and can't imagine her being that kind of person is what hurs and bothers me the most. I also dated her for a week a few moths back and she hurt me really bad so as you can see I have had to get over alot in order to love forgive and accept this girl and Im not about to give up now. HELP ME PLZ!!!!!!! MY GIRLFRIEND USED TO BE A FUC*ING LESBIAN AND HAS DONE ALL THIS CRAZY SH*T. THX GUYS!!!

her past of being a lezbian shouldnt bother you at all, im suprized you dont like that! 99% of guys do lol. I Think you should just leave her past alone and realize the way she is now and stick with that, The past is killing my relationship, and ive learned to deal with it because things happen but life goes on... i say just ignore it and think about how good she is to you now, and start from there

I can understand what you are going through. It is tough when the ghosts of yesterday cannot be put to rest.

 

When it comes to your partner's history, I believe in one thing, that is, whether you accept it OR you don't. If you find that it is troubling you, then end the relationship. No matter how hard you convince yourself that you are be able to look past her history, it would still find ways to return to your mind. To haunt and trouble you.

 

Everyone has their own principles and philosophies on life. What we should do and what we should not. When those boundaries are broken, it is not easy to convince ourselves that everything is alright.
