Say you've got a 30 year old out of college wanting to be hired into a group of other recent graduates typically around 22 years old.

 

Do you say that 30 year old isn't going to play nice in the sandbox ?

I wrote that it can be a more difficult transition for a 30 year old who has been working for 8 years in one career, to switch to a brand new career and be entry level again, than it is for a 22 year old fresh out of college. That doesn't mean he won't play nicely in the sandbox, it just means it might be more of a personal challenge for him to get accustomed to being low person on the totem pole again.

It is confusing, yes, when you twist my words. You assumed I was stating that a 30 year old entry level wouldn't be a good team player. Not sure where you got that from so I inquired whether perhaps that was your statement - since it certainly was not mine.
