Friends wanting to come along on our honeymoon

I don't think you're being selfish. However, I think it would be a blast to spend some vacation time with my best friends, honeymoon or not.

 

It sounds like your friends are fine with giving you space, but they want to hang out with you two after a few days of you guys being alone. To me, that sort of setup would sound pretty good to me, but if you don't want it then be straight with them.

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, just tell your friend's that we could all go on a vacation maybe later on and as this is your Honeymoon you would probably not get much time to spend with them .

 

Make it sound like as if you are inadequate to carry off such plans.

thats insane. I had to laugh at your post, deary, because ive never heard of that!! Im a sarcastic person with my humor, so, if it were me, and it came up again, I'd just say, "yeah how bout we all share a bed too!"... I wouldnt be all serious about it, Id just laugh it off and be like "honeymoon = me and my HONEY going as far at the MOON... WITHOUT ANYONE!" (hm im pretty clever. )
