Cimmie
mononucleosis at a guess. It makes you feel very peculiar in the early stages. The swollen glands would indicate it. Your doctor should take a blood test to check for it. You should take it VERY easy. Link to comment
Relationship Coach
What you have described is indicative to hundreds of possible ailments, ranging for minor to severe. Let the doctors do their thing and try to solve this. RC Link to comment

StarLily
Yeah I had those exact symptoms... My doc told me it was a possible mono... but gave me antibiotics until she could make sure. I felt better the next day... So yeah it could be mono or could be some stupid bacterial infection. Did your doctor gave you medicine? Can you go to a different doctor? Link to comment
kellbell
I also think it may be mono. Did the doc do any blood tests? link removed link removed Link to comment
Krystal_Ivy
I got no anti-biotics. Link to comment
kellbell
If it is mono, antibiotics will not help. Mono is a virus, antibiotics are for bacterial infections. link removed Link to comment
JadedStar
It does sound like mono but you need a second opinion from a doctor. Link to comment
aquatic
Yes, get a second opinion-- and do it asap! Also, don't self-medicate. Link to comment
