Hello everyone, I was talking about this with my friends the other day and this subject came up: Is it wrong for a 17 year old girl to like a 20/21 year old college guy? And it is possible that he likes her too??? Just curious. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, This might sound vague, but there's this guy in my class. He's not the hottest guy in the world, but he's very cute and sweet [to his friends]. Today, we had club sign-ups and I had candy for everyone who joined. I brought the candy to class and EVERYONE wanted some. Being the nice person I am, , I gave in. Then, the guy in my class wanted one too. He didn't act like he didn't know me. So that was a good thing. By the way, I got to a religious school, so we pray and stuff. During religion, we were going to pray for our churches and stuff, and my friend thought it was a good idea for everyone to hold hands. Yes, it might sound ridiculous, but I was kind of shy to hold his hand. Weird. I know. But you have NO idea of how shy I was. Well, we held hands. His hands were so warm and tender. *sigh* I wasn't nervous or anything; suprisingly, I was calm and normal. We held hands and then started to pray, and my hand was in his. Then, he got an "itch" on his face or something, and was still holding my hand, lifted it up to his face and scratched his face. I kind of gave a weird look, and HIS [girl] friend saw and gave me this look like "Ooo la la." It wasn't a bad look, just a look like "oh they're so cute." And then, during the prayer, he held my hand tighter. I wanted to hold his hand tighter, too, but I figured he would feel weird. He started to loosen his hand towards the end though. Well, I think I like him now. I want to talk to him, but I'm afraid. I looked on his blogger, and apparently he HAS a girlfriend. I was so disappointed. What do I do??? Should I just forget about him? Or what?

There is this girl at my school and she thinks she is the queen of everything. We used to be such great friends until this {school} year. For example, she thinks she is the queen of math when in fact she isn't. There are other people who probably have the same grade as her! And another thing is that she always thinks she has the best ideas. For example, one time I had this idea for our English video project, well the script actually. I told her and she repeats it and says, "Isn't that a good idea?" And I say, "Um that's what I JUST said." She does that kind of thing ALL THE TIME! Why does she do that? She doesn't have hearing problems. I know that for a fact. Also, we both run cross country. Last season, I injured my knee and was out for the rest of the season. Then, one day we are dressing for 7th per. P.E. and we (my other friend was there too) were talking about our injuries. I happen to mention that I am out for the rest of the season. Then she says, "Hey, that means I'll be FASTER than YOU!" I'm thinking, "wow!" What the hell is that supposed to mean?" When we go outside my other friend whispers to me, "What did she mean? That was rude" (I mean when my "friend" doesn't notice) ...sorry. confusing. Then, in her blog profile she says this: I also love cars....Kathy's rubbing off on me...loser butt..just kidding..you know i love you! Okay. I know she is "just kidding" but still. She thinks that she was the one who got me "hooked" on cars when in fact I was the one. And sometimes she tells me "see what I got you into?" I'm like ...grr! I am REALLY SORRY if I am making a big deal out of this. Maybe someone out there understands my situation. *sigh*[/b]

LOL. My realllllllly, extremely cute guy friend likes A.F.I. And so do I. After school we were hanging out w/ a bunch of people. And I happened to mention that I liked A.F.I. He's like "WOOOOA YOU LIKE THEM?!?" Lol It looked like he was really surprised. He said, "Oh I have their new CD." I said, "Sing of the Sorrow?" He replies, "Yup." I said, "(haha/laugh) I don't have it. Isn't that sad?" He said, "No...Do you have a blank CD?" I reply, "Um yes. Why?" (obviously I know where this is going, but I just said it coz...u kno w/e.) He says, "Well I'll burn it for you. Bring a blank CD." Then, I said thank you bla bla bla. haha. OKAY, MY POINT IS....He's kind of a forgetful person. I'm serious. If he says something one day, the next day or two someone mentions what he said, he says "oh. I said that?" It's really but sad. haha. So tomorrow, or some other day if I give him the blank CD. I don't want him to go, "What's this?" and I would have to say "remember you said u were going to burn the afi cd for me?" That's just awkward/embarrasing. I hope some of you understand what I mean. HELP?!? It's not THAT important, but just tell me what you think.

I've posted here a couple times b4. I just had a quick question. There's this really cute guy in my spanish class. I'm a sophomore, and he's a junior. We're not exactly friends, and not exactly aquantainces, although we are both in the same Spanish class. Basically, we've never spoken to each other. Well, today, in "math lab" (a popular hangout after school), his friend was stuttering something and finally said my name out loud. And I said, "yes?" He's like "Oh nothing. He [as in the guy in my spanish class] just wanted to know your name." I was like "oh, okay." Now, he's not exactly what you call a crush, but I was just thinking about him. so yeah! How do I know if he's interested or not? I'm just curious. tee hee.

Hello everyone. I don't want to seem angsty here, so I'll try to make this really clear. I have this friend, right? Well, we've been friends since the 8th grade. We've had some classes together, and we're both on honor roll. Now we're in 10th grade. Things have changed. I'm like her realllly reallly good friend. I guess u can say, I'm her best friend. However, when it comes to school and sports, she's SOOOO competitive with me. For example, we were running the 800m for "fun" the other day. I got a 3:04, my best time. She got like a 3:12 right? Ever since track started we've gotten almost the same times. Well, anyways, afterwards she seemed really pissed and distant with me. Like I was like "yay! Go ___!" And I hugged her and my other friend, congratulating them on a PR. Then, I dunno. It was really weird. U'd have to see it for urself. Then she's like "I'm running it AGAIN on Friday." (we ran it on a tuesday..or wed.) One time, in cross country, I hurt myself, so I was "done" for the season. She's like "awwe you're not running anymore! that means I can get a better time than you!!" My other friend and I were like "ummmm...okay." ANOTHER EXAMPLE: In school, she's so competive with me. She's always asking what I get on tests and quizzes. I don't want to tell anyone my grades, whether they are good or not, coz I'm just not like that. If I say, "I did good" or "I did okay," she'll ask "what percent did you get?" I'm like "uhhh....a good one?" does it matter? NO. Anyways, then one time she accompanied me to my locker. We were going home, and then she asks "why are you taking your chemistry stuff home?" I say, "I'm just gonna." And then after I'm done, she goes, "Oh I'm going to take mine home too." And she's never really open to any of my ideas. For example, we had an English video project. No one was the director, coz WE (as in our group) thought it was a lil "ehhh" if one of us was the director. Anyways, she basically took control of it. We were writing the script, and I told her an idea that I had. Then she goes, "OH! I know!..." And she basically repeats what I said. I'm like "um that's what I just said." And she says, "Oh. Well I have to say it in my own words so I can understand it." I'm like "um okay." I also had some great ideas on shots and acting for everyone, but when I said it, she goes "NO, ....bla bla bla." She basically repeats what I say! I'm like "omg! that's what i just said"(thinking to myself). well, that is my EXTREMELY LONG STORY. Please tell me what I should do. I hope I didn't sound paranoid or anything.

Okay, I've known my friend since 7th grade. We've been good friends since then. We're in 10th grade now...and he goes to a different school...(I started liking him around 8th grade). We're always talking, especially online. Sometimes he says things that seem to make it obvious that he likes me...But I dunno. He's a a really nice guy...He's every girl's dream: cute/sexy/hott/sweet/very smart/athletic/caring/romantic... He's single and looking. We have some things in common; we both "understand" one another. I feel so comfortable around him..and so does he..he told my friend that he feels comfortable around me, and my friend told me!...Am I his next girl? Thanx 4 reading! XOXO

Hey! I'm a girl..duh...lol. Well, I think you should get to know her better. When you get the chance, ask her little things, like "What's your favorite movie?" OR.."What's your favorite book?" Who knows?????? Maybe you and her might have the same interests! *wink* lol. Once you get to know her better, ask her to go hang out w/ you and maybe some friends at the mall and see a movie. When you feel the time is right, ask her to go w/ u again...but alone. I'm sure you guyz will be closer in time and eventually go out! Good luck to you!

Hello! I'm having some guy problems. I'm falling in love with a friend that I've known since the 7th grade. Ever since I saw him in our 7th per. music class, I knew we would be good friends. Now, he's at another school and I miss him, although we talk frequently online. He's so ambitious, smart, sweet, cute, and everything a girl would ever want in a guy. He likes someone, but I don't know who. My friends say he likes me, but I doubt it. How should I approach the situation? I want to tell him I love him, but I'm scared. I have a guy friend, named "D" (code name), that I've known since the 7th grade. In 7th grade, we only had ONE class together, which 7th period. All the 7th graders had mini-elective course that switched each quarter. The first was music. I have a very unique last name, and my teacher HAD TO announce it to the whole class (very embarrasing). He also made me tell stuff about myself. I told him that my parents had their own business...a restaurant and this guy's eyes ("D") just popped up and he leaned over to look at me! I was like "ookaay..." After class, he came up to me and says, "Hey, your last name is SOOO cool. What is it? Thai?" I said, "Yeah." He says, "Awesome. Hey, my name is ________." We then started getting to know each other, but not hang out. In 8th grade, we still continued to be friends. However, he got to that stage in life...puberty. lol. He became really snotty & mean to everyone because he's so "rich." Anyways, we still continued to be friends, but not as much b/c he had his guy friends and I had my girl friends. One day, in the library we were talking and he asked me who I liked. I said, "no one." He didn't believe me because of the way I said it. Then I accidently blurted out my crush's name. He gets all hyper and all he could say is, "Oh my God!" lol. haha. I'm like, "yeah...watever." I knew I could trust him, because "D" didn't know my crush AND my crush never found out....i don't think. lol. At the end of the school year, he tells me that he is going to move to another school...the high school I wanted to go to since the 6th grade. It was my dream to go to this school. However, I had to stay at my school because it's a Jr./Sr. High School....ugh. Anyways, I was very sad. I begged him not to go, but he said he had to. He said he would miss me and wishes that I could go with him. The junior high days were over. *Sigh* Freshman year. "D" is gone. I miss him so much. Throughout the year I thought him. Before the school year ended, I gave him my AIM screen name. One evening, he IMed me. I was soo happy to speak to him again! I asked him so many questions! He said he wished I moved schools, but I said I couldn't b/c of my parents. My parents knew that "D" was going there, but they still didn't move me. Well, the months went on and we still spoke to each other...online, of course. THEN, one day I was going to my geometry classroom to get some help on my homework. I opened the door, when someone shouted my last name. I KNEW IT WAS HIM! I turned around and said, " "D" it's you!" He says, "Yeah." He was just visiting the school b/c of his friend's lil bro who attends my school. We didn't talk much b/c we were both in a hurry. It was a few weeks before school ended. We were still contacting each other. One day, on the internet, I saw his AIM profile and I saw that it said "Hey 'B'. Love you, baby. You're a life saver." I knew that he hooked up with some girl at his school. I asked myself, "How come he didn't tell me?" I was sad and told my friends. My friends were convinced that I liked him, but I denied it. hehe. Like a lightening flash, FRESHMAN YEAR ENDED. PRESENT DAY: I am going into Sophomore year now, so is "D." He's a great tennis player! He mad it to a tournament where the top players in his age group compete. He won! I was so happy for him. I play a lil tennis and badminton myself, but I'm not that good. I'd say...I'm a "novice." LOL. Well, anyways my friends STILL think I like "D" and they are....RIGHT. I do like him. No, I love him. I think of him everyday. . . when I'm not busy reading or volunteering, cuz that will take me "off track." LOLZ! haha. He currently does not suspect that I like him. That's a good thing. The only flaw is that my friends say he bad mouths everyone and brags. I asked some of his friends...or "ex" friends if he ever bad-mouthed me. They said, "Never." I was happy, which means he TRULY is a friend. My friends say that I can do better, but I don't think I can. He's cute, smart, sweet, and he's all that I ever want in a guy. I'm not shallow, so I don't care if he's rich or popular. I really want to be with him, but I don't know how to get him to like me more than a friend.
