So me and my girlfriend broke up after a year of going out like a month and a half ago. She seems fine without me and I miss her a little but I don't think we will go back out because she seems fine now. Any ways a couple weeks ago she told me she really cared about me and if I didn't hang out with this other girl we would be going back out but now she doesn't seemed like she wants me that much anymore. Well she told me to tell the other girl that I still have feelings for my "ex" and we shouldn't hang out right now and I didn't want to lead her on. Well I guess she "hates me" now because of this I think. My friend says that she probably doesn't, but I was wondering if their is a way of her to make her not hate me anymore? If I told her that my ex wanted me to do this would that make it worse or no, I'm not sure how she would take that? Anyone have any ideas of what I should do or ideas from her to stop "hating me"? I miss my ex still but I don't know if we have a future together anymore. Also it's not like I want to go out with girl right now but she is pretty cool and I want to be friends again.

Yes I have told her how I feel. I have taken time away from her and she calls me almost everyday now so she must miss me. She wants to hang out more and wants to get back together. She is being like this because at first when we broke up I kinda liked this other girl but it was sort of a rebound and I don't have that much of feeling for her anymore.

No I still really like her and want to get back together. I don't know how I should treat this though.

OK so me and my girlfriend of a year broke up like three weeks ago and like a couple of days ago we hung out and everything was great and we still really connected. This other she thought liked me but I told her I didn't like her. But she was looking through my phone and saw that she called me and I told her why. We hung out but it was with other people so it wasn't anything really. She was really mad and she almost cried. She tells me how much she likes me still and that. She told me that we would probably be going back out if she didn't find that out because she realized that she really missed me after we hung out. I don't know if this is a big deal because to her it seems like it is. We weren't going out at the time either. She says she is mad about the situation and it will take time and that. What should I do is this a big deal or no?

I know I miss her so much though. I think I may wait two weeks until spring break is over and see how things are going. I want to ask her if we will get back together but I don't want her to annoyed with me at all is that a good idea? I want to call her so bad just to talk but I don't know if I should or not?

No it wasn't while we were going out she thought I liked someone else. It was after we broke up because me and think girl started talking just in a friendly way though, she was cute but I still had so much feelings for my ex. We went out for a year if that changes anything.

She talked to me like we were still going out and she told me that the build a bear i gave her for valentines day she still sleeps with and it means a lot to her and that she still loves me. She also said she want it to stay like this for a little longer to see if her feelings are right and correct. Does that mean she is starting to miss me or something?

Yeah so me and my girlfriend agreed to break up like a week ago. Well as you may have seen the other thread I sort of thought about this other girl, but now I am over her and miss my ex. We were talking yesterday and she said she wanted it to stay like this for a while to see if her feelings are right and she feels the same way. She told me yesterday that she still cared about me and that she still loves me and I just said ok and she told me she was serious. I thought about it and I realize how much I miss her and everything about her all the little things. But what does this mean what she told me? Does that mean she is still interested in me and would probably want to get back together later on if she still misses me or what?

Any Suggestions?

Here's a question though I think I may start to go after this other girl. Should I give it time as respect for my ex still knowing it isn't easy for her to see with me someone else because she has told me that she is mad I talk to her already. Also if I do start going out with this other girl would it make it easier to become friends with her or what, or would I have to wait for her to move on to actually be friends again ?

Well I still like her and if things change I would go back out with her but I don't want to sit here and wait for her so I am thinking about just pursing this other girl but giving it a little time out of respect for my ex. Also I still would like to be friends with her and that because I like her as a person and that but how should I go about doing that just work my way into it or what?
