I'm curious to know if this man is older or younger than you and how long you have known him? If he says he loves you and you are the right one for him then what is he waiting for. The fact that he knows your mom and sister well should be a good thing because your family already respects him as an individual. If he truly wants to be with you, then he should step up to the plate and forget this other woman that you mentioned. If you truly love this man and want to be with him then you both need to sit down and discuss your feelings and get everything out in the open and dont give up on him. The only difficult part would be that if this man is hung up on this other woman because of a sexual attraction, you need to be careful even if he professes his love for you and agrees to be with only you, you need to make sure that he is being honest and doesnt sway to the other woman for sex.

Wow, I didnt know it can really mess you up like that if you're depressed. Thanks for mentioning that. I'll be more cautious who I make suggestions too. My dermatologist should have informed me of that way back.

I would suggest Accutane, you need a prescription from your dermatologist though. Beg your mom to take you. It really works but its a very strong med, and very expensive too (like $1300 for 6 months-insurance will cover it)...but it works miracles. You would also need to take monthly pregnancy tests (to ensure you're not pregnant because it can severely deform the baby) I had bad acne for years as a young adult and this really worked for me. I was also on many topical prescriptions and tetracyclene (another med from the derm) before Accutane but Accutane is what really helped me. Now my skin is as clear as a models, really and I also get compliments all the time about my nice skin. I also use Pro-active for maintenance. That works too but it has benzoyl peroxide in it. Hang in there. Your skin will clear up, you are still very young and it WILL get better! Just have patience! Best of luck!
