sanj101ca
Hi There....was hoping to get some info on how to go about with an uncontensted divorce in Ontario? No kids are involved....but there are some financials/possesions to be split. The wife left the home 2 months ago to find her self and her feelings for me. Also what's the cheapeast way to go ahead? I'm hoping we reconcile.....but I'm also preparing myself that may not happen. Thanks S. Link to comment
Jetta
You can find papers on-line, but it's really best to go through an attorney. Also in the U.S. you can go to the courthouse and ask for the court documents (for a fee) they give them to you to complete. I think it's $5 to get the paperwork and several hundred to file. Ash
It will help greatly if you're totally agreed on what the assets split will be. You'll need a separation agreement to accomplish that I believe. You'll need legal involvement somewhere along the lines, I'm not sure if you can accomplish it with a paralegal or not. Link to comment
Portage
If you can agree on how to split the assets...you're looking at no more than $500.00 Link to comment
willow2900
Most paralegals in Ontario will give a free assessment of your situation. From there you should get a good standpoint of everything. It does make it all alot easier if you can decide on all assests beforehand. Much cheaper. Good luck with it all. Link to comment
