Boughs
I'm going home for the holidays. Feeling a bit off in my head. So here is a poem I've written to help myself think. I'm coming home mom. If only I could tell you what I've learned. I've figured out the meaning of love, be it love of a friend a girl or family. I have never really told you how much you've done for me. Your hard work to keep me afloat while I I kept trying all the little tiny things in the boat to sink us. I've learned love of a girl, and experienced the loss. Its had me lose heart for a bit, but I'm rebuilding. I've been crying, and I think you know I have. I've been struggling and I know you know I have. I've not been trying, something you think I have. I'm just so sorry mom, I wish I could figure it out. I wish I could win more. I'm kind of tired of losing. I used to think it was helping me, but maybe I'm in a dream world where failure is fame. One day will i wake up? I doubt it. My mind is too set in too strong to aspire and too weak to really believe that my love will return. Whether it be the love of my career love of a friend a girl or even you. I doubt its return. Link to comment

Boughs
B, Lovely. Just a thought, but would you ever consider giving it a go -- sharing what you've learned w/ your mom?? I never really had a relationship with my mother so no. But I sure wish I could/did. I don't know where my mindset is right now. I've lost a lot of things in my life recently, I hope I can get back on my feet soon. Link to comment
Ellie2006
B, Hope I don't sound too ...hoakey but IMO, relationships don't remain static; it's forever evolving ... Hope things turn around for you and your Mom. And feel better soon, B! Sending best wishes your way, E 1: Link to comment
faydra
A beautiful poem from a person who is very depressed. If you physically see your mother it would be wonderful for her if you could share this with her. It was be good for you also. Hang in there for the better times to come. There will be sad times too, and times of losing but there will also be times you will win, and happy times. Link to comment

Thank you. I couldn't share it with her. I just don't think it would be right. Link to comment
