pant size?

Hey, I was wondering what the average (healthy, not super thin) pant size for someone who is 5'1 should be??? (including hips! cuz I have em) thanx

thank you! but I wear a 5 or 7 now. I used to be a 13 but I lost weight. But hmm....I also think it depends on if it's "Juniors" sizes or womens. Then it depends. I use Juniors.

Could just be genetic Yvette. Some of us don't have the bone structure to be skinny REGARDLESS of HOW much weight we lose. I am actually 'medium boned'.......which is FINE with me. I KNOW I will always have hips.....and probably a butt..lol..but I haven't had ANY complaints . From your pics...neither should you

I'm 5'4', when I'm happy and EAT once in a while I'm a 3-5. When I'm having problems in life I'm a 1-3.

I don't think you can judge by pant size. Each store tailors things differently, and you have to take into account vanity sizing. Plus, there is no size that you "should" be. You should just be healthy.

But I think that as long as you are at a healthy weight then it doesn't matter what size jeans you wear! And you said you went from a 13 down to a 5 or 7? That's awesome and you should be proud of that!

EH, I have the opposite problem, I'm short.

 

All my pant cuffs drag, the worst part is the crotch rise. Regular rises are just under my bra line, so i wear lose rise so I don't look like Steve Urkel. Its really hard to find PJ pants that fit right, so I've stopped wearing pants to bed.

I tried on two pairs of jeans of the same brand and same size: one fit and one didn't so not all pants are the same. And also 5 is considered average. Another thing to add is that I think sizes are getting smaller. I wear a size 5 and I'm 5' 4.5" so I wouldn't sweat it.

I am 4'5" and I wear a pant size of about 4 or 6 in women's sizes, depending on how the pants are cut. But everything, with the exception of some capris, I have to have about 3-4 inches hemmed off so I can wear it. I tend to be on the husky side so pants can be a pain in the butt. I cant wear children's size pants because I am big boned. Capris look like pants on me.

 

Pants do NOT usually make me look sexy, but I prefer wearing pants than wearing skirts or dresses.

I think womens sizes run differently than juniors, because a 5 in womens is way to big for me, but a 5 in juniors fits. ugh...why does it have to be so comlicated?? do you guys shop in juniors or womens??

im 5'1'' too and my pants run from 9 - 11. im pretty thick. i have a lot of hips and thighs. i weight from 140 - 160 depending on monthly cycles or how happy and sad i am.

I'm 5'4 and I wore a size 1 or 3 before I got pregnant. Now that I'm 35 weeks pregnant, I still only wear a size 7 and it sits comfortably under my tummy.
