lead on after a long break......wth?

I was given a second chance after a so called " break" and here's what happens....... she says she wants to take a break so that i can straighten out my life. I follow all the rules do what she asks, we casually date for a little over a year during this break. I don't pressure as to when we will be getting back together. Finally, I can't take it know more.. I snap and say to here so what's in the fure for us. She replies and says she happy living alone and be able to do what she wants to without any hassles. So why lead me on like that? I need some answers..

I don't think either one of you take or did take each other seriously. I think it's time that both of you move on.

Maybe she was serous about the break early on, and then decided it needed to be permanent--but was too anxious/embarrassed to tell you. Either way it doesn't sound like she's ready for any sort of commitment.
