Porn; Can it be dangerous?

Just want to know what you think about porn?? Can it be dangerous? porn isn't allowed here for under 18 year old, but every boy looks at it. I came to this question because I just read an article about a boy who watched at porn every day or every 2 days and masturbates and his mother wants to "help" him, because she thinks it's dangerous?? Why should it be dangerous??

Porn is a very subjective matter. It, like a gun isn't dangerous it and of itself, but how you use it could be. Just as in anything, a little bit goes a LONG LONG way. One thing you should know about porn. Once you see something, you can never 'unsee' it. You'll always remember what you've seen. The more you see, the more you'll want to see, and the more bored you'll get with what you have seen. It can take you down paths you never expected, because the more you see, the more jaded you'll become. Things that seem stunning to you right now might not even cause a response later on down the road, and you can't go back. This is where the REAL danger lies. Any type of obsession is a very very bad thing. Seeing some things could cause you to eventually be accepting of behaviors that would turn most peoples stomachs in the long run.

 

The best thing to use for erotic stimulation is something you already have: your imagination. Use it. You don't need to go down the porn path.

there are thousands of people addicted to porn, it destroys intamacy and encourages selfishness, neither of which help marraiges or families. "every body does it" right? no that is wrong. alot of people do it, that is true. but alot of people are divorcing or kill themselves because of the trap. even people in the industry (although it is not well publicized) kill themselves to get out of it's clutches. i know many children molested because of it. I know a few men in prison because of this addiction that started out as "harmless" viewing. you see it is like an epedemic in my family- you know like there are some families where alcoholism is a problem, and some where physical abuse is a problem- well this is the one that plagues mine. so just remember before you look at it you have a choice, you could look or you don't have to. but once you start down that path it takes more and moe erotic adrenalin to give you that high from the beginning. and when you least expect it- you are hooked.
