How should I respond to this question?

I think this belongs in this forum, but if it doesn't, please tell me!

 

So anyway, at school yesterday, I was sitting with my friends and this girl that went to my old school came up to me and asked me if I liked her. I do and have since a couple of years ago. I also know that she likes me.

 

So how should I say I like her?

Should I get up the guts do it outright, (My favourite, except for the fact I'm shy-ish)

Be all sort of miffy and avoid the question,

Or answer in a round about kind of way.

Well if you do, go for it! Tell her that you like her! What do you have to lose? If you say yes, there's every chance that she'll reciprocate your feelings and maybe make a similar confession. You say no, she'll lose interest in you too and move on.
