The company I currently work for has negative reviews too. People don't tend to write reviews when they're happy.

Don't allow fear to steer your ship or you'll wake up 20 years from now still in the same job at the same company.

And I know of a business that has highly positive reviews by employees.  And I know they are not actually employees and they are fake reviews.  A personal opinion by a trusted friend -sure I'd take that into account.  Not online reviews about workplace environment.
