I agree that children should not be brought into a relationship unless it is serious and committed. I guess I assumed he had the same beliefs, that's what he seemed to make me think, but obviously he doesn't hold that same belief.

 

I appreciate all of your comments. I apologize for not responding before now. I have stopped contacting him and I am feeling better. He has reached out about getting his things and about me returning the gift he got me, but that's it. I replied to these with indifference. If he reaches out again for anything other than getting his things, I plan on ignoring it.

 

I believe at this point he is just trying to get a reaction out of me since I have pulled away, and I don't plan on allowing him to control my emotions any longer.
