There is never an excuse for cheating. Dont ever let some one make you feel responsible for it. There are all kinds of ways to deal with issues in a relationship, cheating isnt one of them.

If i was going to forgive someone i would meet and private and talk it out. you said she breaks down well I'm sorry but to grow in this situation, you both need to figure what was causing the distance etc, like the real root of the problems, open up both of you and say how you actually feel.

 

People don't change over night. If she was about to break up with you, then there are some issues that need to be dealt with.
