helpneeded
if u ask someone whether they love the other person and they answer 'yes i do feel for her'.......does this mean yes i do love her or i feel sorry for her?! thanks Link to comment
DN
either. The problem with the word "feelings" is that it can run the gamut of emotions from a very mild concern about someone's well-being to the greatest passion. It's very imprecise. Try to sense the meaning by the non-verbal communication. Intensity of voice, for instance. As a general rule in communication - if in doubt, ask for clarification Link to comment
sisterlynch
Have you heard the comercial where the parrot says "she is irritating, but I am desperate"? It is classic!! Link to comment
mermayd
Whoever said "I feel for her" is probably too scared to admit straight out that he is in love, if he is. Regardless, the statement sounds like he cares about her and if it is not love yet, he feels it could end up being so later. Link to comment
youngin
OK are they young (like highschool age)? If so, some people don't want to say they love someone for fear of spoiling the deep meaning of the word. For example, I have a friend who tells his gf he loves her every 5 minutes. When he says it, it no longer seams as meaningful as if you have just told someone that you love them for the first time. Link to comment
caramellabacix
You see, he didn't just say "I feel for her" which could imply that he felt sorry for her. He said "YES, I do feel for her." He was asked a question, and the first answer he gave was "yes." If he was saying he felt sorry for her, why would he say "yes" first? Link to comment
