Maybe I can make this work?

My ex is talking to me again, nothing serious, but for about a week now we've been messaging each other. She lives 2.5 hours away, we broke up over the distance. But maybe it says something that she's starting to come back into my life. I saw some pictures of her... she's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.. But I probably shouldn't tell her that haha. Anyway, I was thinking about making a trip to her town to see some friends, and maybe trying to run into her there? Is there any way this could work out? I was told by a friend, "stop looking for happiness in the place you lost it" but I gravitate towards her, It's hard to see things clearly I guess. But I do know I'd love to try again.. Should I try and see her?

If you get back together, the distance will still be there. What will change if you give it another go?

 

2.5 hours is not a long time away (assuming you're talking about driving). Something tells me there are other reasons you broke up than solely distance.
