I went away for a week and came back to a message saying he'd bought a new camera so I rang him.. He's mentioning needing up for a few stinks what do I do. He's my first love x

Wish him well but I think you'll be advised not to meet up. I have seen few happy endings to stories here of people who met up with an ex. Sometimes goes well at first, but old feelings crop up like weeds and the ending is usually they wish they hadn't and they return to no contact.

It likely will go nowhere BUT if you don't try you'll never know. The only things I regret in life are the things I didn't do because I was too afraid.

After reading your past threads, I would advice you not to. It doesn't sound like he wants to get back together, otherwise he would make that clear, along with the fear of losing you to someone else.

 

This is entirely your call, but you know the drill as to what this will likely lead to. Why not hold on to your self-respect, and let the chips fall where they may?
