like the title states. I don't know what to feel about that. I'm torn, however, I can't seem to grasp that death happens, which sort of detaches me from it, so I can't put those 2 together.

I think perhaps you were expecting the Hollywood version of grief and very often it doesn't happen that way. From your post i would think you are far less detached from it that you think. You are thinking about it and reflecting on what happened. I am sorry for your loss.
