RodeoJones
Hello all, Long time reader, first time poster. I met a girl from an online dating site Wednesday night at a bar. She was with a group of her friends, and I brought a couple of my friends. We all had a good time but there was little time for us to get to know each other. When I text messaged her the next day, she did agree to go out one-on-one date with me next week. Anyway, at the bar, she mentioned her birthday was this weekend. Since we have only had a few texts since the date and she is out of town this weekend celebrating, would it be too much to text her "Happy Birthday?" A part of me feels like it's a thoughtful gesture, but another part of me feels like it's strange to be text messaging a girl I don't know too well while she is out of town, celebrating with her friends. What do you guys and girls think? Link to comment

In the Dark
That's a hint. Women like a man who remembers. Browny points for remembering. Link to comment
abitbroken
It would be better to call and wish her a Happy Birthday. But if you feel uncomfortable, by all means text her. You are going out with her again, after all. I guess I am just old fashioned. Link to comment
TearsofFate
Wish her a happy birthday! If I were her, I'd be sad if you didn't (just saying!) Girls like that sort of thing.. Good luck! Link to comment
RodeoJones
Well, it looks like it's unanimous! I'll be wishing her a "Happy Birthday," then. Thanks for the advice! Link to comment
