Does absence make the heart grow fonder?

Hello again. I posted a message earlier this week about my boyfriend never being in the mood for sex anymore because we are together too often. I was thinking of taking a month long vacation, however I'm a little scared to leave him for so long since this is our first separation in almost a year. But I'm hoping that my absense will make the heart grow fonder - and hopefully bring the passion back into our relationship. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Absense in what respect? No contact, break up, ??? For all those who say do the no contact thing... there are certainly limits. For one, if you keep pulling the breakup/ no contact move eventually your partner is going to just cut the string.

No, we're not breaking up - I'm just taking a vacation but we're still a very committed couple. It's just we've been together for 24/7 for the past 8 months and I think it's beginning to take a toll on the relationship. So maybe this vacation will help to bring back the passion. That's all.
