Limited contact

Me and My girlfriend of 2.5 years are taking a little break right now to hopefully try and grow some independence. Right now we're on limited contact for the next 14 days because we don't live in the same city so I can't see her until then.

 

We usually text each other a lot throughout the day, and I find it very hard to not text her right now.

Any suggestions?

Distract yourself, go out with friends/family and leave your phone behind. Or just switch your phone off, leave it in a separate room and go watch a film.

Distract yourself by finding something to do. Whether its hanging out with friends, or spending quality time with your family. Turn your phone off if you have too so you dont get tempted to text her. Do stuff that can distract you.

"Accidently" leave it at home. I've done the same thing and you just sit and look at it fighting back and forth debating what to do. Do what you guys are trying to do go out and do something YOU love to do.
