A Thread For Those Of Us Losing Weight

Wow...lots of posts here. I'm jumping on the bandwagon late.

 

I'd like to lose 5-8% body fat and increase my lean muscle by about 8-10%.

 

I only use a body fat/muscle mass scale and mostly ignore the weight part (I had to go check it to write this haha), but at these goals I would weigh about 110-114 lbs (currently 121). Currently a size 5 pant, 0-2 dress (woo excessive curves ). I'm only 5 feet tall so this seems pretty reasonable to me.

 

Plan on doing this by following the CR (calorie restriction) diet (the specific CRS diet, not the less caories in general idea) for minimum calories and maximum macronuritent intake, while modifying it slightly for increased protien intake to keep up/increase my muscle mass.

 

Not really going to do much for exercise change. Right now I hit the gym 2-3x a week for weight training. And I play competative rugby (training 2x a week, games 1-2x) which keeps me in pretty good shape.

 

Just thought I'd post this as a reminder to myself, and for some support as I know these goals are gonna be hard as a female athlete who plateaus very easily (i.e where I am right now)

 

Anyone else looking to "lose weight" in a very athletic sense?
