Nearwater
So, I am still in allot of pain over being dumped 4 months ago. Stayed NC for about 3 weeks, very hard. She and her rebound are still cruising. I was very hurt she was in town for a few days and did not check in. Then I got a call a very close relative passed away of age related problems. In the middle of the night after the 11 pm tear-storm I texted her about the passing, leaving it a bit vague and that I had to go help with things. For the first time in months she responded, so sorry, who was it? ect. (text) Now I am sorry I opened the door, but it really is the 1st civil thing out of her. This texting is for the birds. Too impersonal. I will only speak, no email, no text. Don't know If i am going to respond, maybe let it ride and let her take the next step. She left me horribly, cheating, lying, running of with a married guy. Hope someday to get an apology... Link to comment
AJ Auteur
Using the passing as a reason to break no contact...get back on the horse...forget about the apology and move on. Link to comment
Butterflygrl
Yes, chalk that up as a moment of grief. It happens. You shouldn't contact her again. Use that as you having the last word and sever contact. That's all wonderful she was so concerned, but really does that make up for what she has done to you? P.S. I'm sorry about your relative passing. Link to comment
thejigsup
She went with a married man? Why would you want a tramp like this? You can do better. There are nice women everywhere. Link to comment
