Agreed. If I were in the man's position, having my girlfriend run off to the toilet to spit it out just afterward would put me off so much.

 

Personally, although occasionally, it can be a little unpleasant in taste - I've never found it so repulsive that I have to immediately spit it out. Swallowing has always been firstly, less messy and much easier.
