heres the deal.
i am pretty new to relationships. a novice i'd say. I'm 23, my girlfriend is 27. she is a pretty well to do girl. makes good money, very independent, but thats not why i'm here.
she has been physical with 3 people in her life. the first of 7 years, it didnt work out right, she started seeing a lot of a co worker and ended up cheating on the other one with him. she broke it off with the first and dated the other (who was married) for 2 years.
now theres me. i have been around for about 6 months, serious for 2.
my problem is, is that she still talks to the first almost everyday. they go out to eat twice a week and do little things together still. she swears up and down that she doesnt like him like that. he use to stay the night in her bed with her. they'd do nothing, and she would swear to it. and shes not the type of girl that wouldnt tell me for fear of upsetting me. (problem one) we talked about that and she understood that it was a bit strange. she said that he wouldnt stay the night anymore but she would still hang out with him for dinner and what nots. he still has strong feelings for her. then comes boyfriend #2. he still calls, they chat everyday too. which bothers me. but she says that she is glad that i understand and all because the first never would of. i know she loves me but sometimes she hurts me so bad for not understanding that the things she does bothers me. we've moved really fast, and thats one thing she always brings up. and thats why she doesnt feel the exact same for me. and says to just give it time. all i need help with is if i give her more time and i just wasting my own? any help......
