kiwi73
I have been having weird nightmares/dreams for ages now, not every night. I wake and I am either sitting up or sitting on the side of the bed or looking out the window, or touching the walls/window blinds, I feel like something has happened and the room is just about standing and the walls could fall down. My husband often asks what the hell I'm doing, I then totally come to and get back into bed and go to sleep, it doesn't happen again that night. The other night I had a racing pulse and I cried too, it felt so real! Do I need to see a psychologist? or doctor? Link to comment
hyden
Start by seeing your doctor. If you are on medications for anything, they may need to be adjusted, etc. Your doctor may refer you to a specialist as needed. Link to comment
Viceroy
This dream sounds like you've got a lot of stress in your life, which isn't good. I don't think seeing a doctor or psychologist is a bad idea, especially considering these have been reoccurring dreams. Something medically could be up, especially with the pulse. You may have some elements of insomnia that may need to be addressed. Link to comment
melancholy123
I used to have recurring dreams that were very scary when I was a kid and they lingered into when I became a teen. I finally just casually mentioned them to someone and after that they never happened again. It's almost like finally speaking about them made them go away. Link to comment
