Why on my birthday?

Me and my ex split up early feb, she split up with me, although we had had an argument where I stupidly said maybe we should separate, she took me literally and went ahead with it and maybe rightly, whatever, blames me. I bumped in to her after 1 1/2 weeks after her ignoring me completely and she said that she needs space and that she'll contact me in 2 weeks. So I gave her that space and more when she didn't get in contact. Then on my birthday she contacts me, 6 weeks later to say she needs to swap over our things. Now just to say, I let her know I was wrong in what I said and she knows I regret it and didn't want to separate and I always treated her more than well. My question is was it completely coincidence she emailed me on that day, or was it to get in contact on maybe a day she was thinking about me or was it just to hurt me? She didn't wish me a happy birthday but she did say I hoped I had a good easter. We were going out 3 years and now I feel I'm regressing in my moving on.

My guess is she forgot it was your bday. It would be pretty mean of her not to wish you a happy bday if she knew what day it was.

Days of occasions seem to mean more to woman then to men, maby it was an unconsious action. Same thing happened to me, broke up with this girl, and out of all days she calls me in the middle of the night on my birthday =] coinsidence? I think not.
