How to respond to your ex while your doing NC?

I am in the middle of NC right now, and its really hard since my ex and I go to the same school. I was wondering how should I respond if she decides to break my NC with a hard question like:

"we are still friends, right?"

or

"have you been seeing anyone else lately?"

 

I would probably stand there for a few minutes hoping someone would interfere.

can't you say something like "I can't talk to you right now" or "I still need time to myself"?

I still love and care for her, and I dont want to like be rude and hurt her feelings or anything. Maybe its just me, I think that would be quite dismissive, and may send the wrong message

If the message you are sending is that you're not in contact with her anymore then I wouldn't think it was rude at all to tell her that. You're not hurting her feelings, you're protecting your own.

Answer: No

 

Question: "have you been seeing anyone else lately?"

Answer: That really doesn't concern you, but {insert your choice of yes or no answer here}

She hasn't spoken to you yet, so just trust that you can answer her honestly and appropriately when the day comes that she does. It's better not to dwell on the things we think/hope our ex's might do; they so rarely oblige.

Don't be rude; don't ignore her calls; but don't tell her exactly what your plans are and who you're seeing; evade her questions; be mysterious; BE BUSY.

if it was me, honestly now..i'd prolly walk away..thats just me though..

 

but don't give to much info. its either yes, no, shrug your shoulders and walk forward.
