Her boring life, a quick question

So there was some drama going on with some of my co-workers this passed weekend... Tonight at work a conversation was being had where one of them referred to me as her best friend, but then she added "well yea, in my boring little life she's my best friend anyway."

 

So was she calling me boring? Because I'm really not sure.

It's a bit of a backhanded compliment isn't it?

 

I'd put it down to her nervous patter more than her actually meaning anything by it.
