What's Going On???

Alright so some of u might have read a recent post about me asking out a girl even tho I was supposed to leave for college in a couple of weeks. Well... I decided to take sumguy and diggitydogg's advice and not ask her for now until I got back.

 

But... I kinda forgot to mention that I heard a rumor (so it might not have been true) that this girl liked me for awhile too. However, she didnt call me even when I gave her my cell number, and she didnt return any of my phone calls.

 

I finally reached her yesterday and she said that she felt really bad that she didnt call me and she had been really busy. So we decide to meet today so she could return some of my stuff that she had, and I decided that this was the day that I would confirm if this rumor was true or not and mayb tell her that I had feelings for her too if this was true.

 

So I go over to her house today to find her dad there and not her!!! According to him, she was supposed to be home like 2 hours ago, but she was probably at her mom's place. What is up with that? It seems like she is avoiding me despite what she says. Is she just not into me anymore or does she wanna just forget about me since she probably has no clue that I like her? Any ideas?

I think you should call her and tell her exactly how you feel and whats on your mind. Maybe she has a good explaination, maybe not...

 

Its better to get things out of the way and not let them drag on for too long, it would be better for you.

thanks for the advice lost_status. but wat do i do after i tell her how i feel? i've never told a girl how i felt about her. wat do i say to follow that up?

I disagree. Don't tell her how you feel. Sounds like she might indeed be avoiding you.

Perhaps she doesn't want to get tied into any long-distance relationships right before college?

 

Perhaps she heard a "rumor" that you were going to ask her out?

maybe she's avoiding me but i never told anyone how i felt about her except my best friend who keeps secrets like no other and has never even seen her in his life and has no inkling who she is.

and the thing is, i accidentally overheard her talking to her friend a couple of months ago saying something like "well i do wanna go out with him, but he's going to have to ask me out and that's never going to happen" or something like that.

plus, is it possible to just kinda tell her how i feel and not ask her out yet?

so we have a 1-1 tie on whether i should call her or not. any other opinions or options?

I doubt she was talking about you because her actions have not been anything like someone who was interested. If she was really excited about dating you she would find time to call you, go out with you, and especially keep her scheduled time for meeting you. Personally, even if it turned out that she was up for dating I would turn her down due to her actions thus far. If someone acts like this already I can only imagine how she would be in a relationship.
