maybe she's avoiding me but i never told anyone how i felt about her except my best friend who keeps secrets like no other and has never even seen her in his life and has no inkling who she is. and the thing is, i accidentally overheard her talking to her friend a couple of months ago saying something like "well i do wanna go out with him, but he's going to have to ask me out and that's never going to happen" or something like that. plus, is it possible to just kinda tell her how i feel and not ask her out yet? so we have a 1-1 tie on whether i should call her or not. any other opinions or options?

Alright so some of u might have read a recent post about me asking out a girl even tho I was supposed to leave for college in a couple of weeks. Well... I decided to take sumguy and diggitydogg's advice and not ask her for now until I got back. But... I kinda forgot to mention that I heard a rumor (so it might not have been true) that this girl liked me for awhile too. However, she didnt call me even when I gave her my cell number, and she didnt return any of my phone calls. I finally reached her yesterday and she said that she felt really bad that she didnt call me and she had been really busy. So we decide to meet today so she could return some of my stuff that she had, and I decided that this was the day that I would confirm if this rumor was true or not and mayb tell her that I had feelings for her too if this was true. So I go over to her house today to find her dad there and not her!!! According to him, she was supposed to be home like 2 hours ago, but she was probably at her mom's place. What is up with that? It seems like she is avoiding me despite what she says. Is she just not into me anymore or does she wanna just forget about me since she probably has no clue that I like her? Any ideas?

i agree that it is stupid for people to make such a big deal of interracial dating. i'm a ful asian, and right now i'm into a girl who's part mexican and part white. i really don't care what race they are as they have a good personality and we like each other. and if my parents say something about it, i dont care b/c its my life and not there's. there are actually many people in japan who are part asian and part black.

thanks sumguy. that does help. i get back for thanksgiving, which is a couple of days, and the next break is winter break which is about 1 and a half months. i was actually hoping we could go out for a little bit and then have a long distance relationship, but i also think that it might be a little hard on both of us if we're only together for 2 weeks at the beginning of our relationship if she says yes. also, do u think it's a good idea to maybe casually date her before i leave and maybe keep in touch like sumguy says until i get back, or should i just let the whole thing go until i come back. but the thing is, i'm afraid she might find another guy if i leave w/o taking any action. any other opinions or input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

so i've liked this one girl for about 2 years and i could never really tell her how i felt. She's really nice, funny, and she's not 2-facey. U can tell if she like u or hates u and so i know that she doesnt hate me. i'm a shy guy and i do that. i really dont know why though. i think it might be b/c i'm not mentally tough enough to try to get attention from my crush by talking to her, so i try to get her attention by flirting w/ other girls to make her jealous. its kinda stupid really b/c then she thinks i'm not interested in her and all that mess.

sorry. i was kinda depressed when i was writing it so i forgot a bunch of details. this thing we both do is that we both play on a co-ed basketball team. we arent allowed to date or anything b/c the coach believes that if we do, then we wont concentrate on the game, and if we dont concentrate, we'll lose. yea i know it sounds really stupid b/c its actually more complicated than it seems. the guys on the team are also set against it b/c they think the same way the coach does. by the way, thanks for the advice brahman cuz wat u said is so true.
