What's your opinion on this issue? Are there really that much interest in it that people are willing to pay to belong to these web clubs? Link to comment

I think the internet, and it's perceived anonomyity provides a "safe haven" for all kinds of sick perverts, rapists, and abusers. People who may have tendencies toward criminal behavior can now become a part of a "club" on the internet. It's easier for them, then having to go out to an underground store. Sadly, there is a market for this kind of filth. The worst part is that these individuals are likely to abuse innocent children. It's not all just thoughts- they are often put into action. Just look at rape and child molestation statistics. If you come accross incest websites, or child porn websites, you should report them: BellaDonna Link to comment

I am thinking that they have the usual twenty something actresses in pigtails and school uniforms acting out scenes with "older" men. A roleplaying type of fantasy. That's what I'm hoping. But in many cases- incest involves one person taking advantage of another. In most cases, the one taken advantage of is an innocent child. Part of the illusion of the internet is that the statements made by such sites dont have to be true, they can just present the media as they choose. For example the two people dont have to be related but the material is presented that way. For "child porn" its possible to pick people and make them look younger in order to present that fantasy. This doesnt mean that these dont actually take place its just a way to portray the fantasy in a legal way. Link to comment

In my opinion, the Internet shows that there really is something for everyone - no matter how sick, immoral, illegal, or just plain wrong - these groups of people do exist. I think incest is more prevalant than most think or want to believe - it's so psychologically disturbing to most people that they want to believe that it almost never happens, or is very rare. People will pay for whatever makes them happy or feel like they're part of something. Whether it's immoral, illegal, or just plain wrong usually doesn't matter though because it, in some strange way, makes them happy. Link to comment

For some people, there may be a link. However, an abuser or rapist can come from all walks of life. One doesn't necessarily correlate to the other. Incest has been practiced by various cultures throughout history and is still practiced in some places today. So its not as rare as you may think. But most likely these sites are more for the fantasy element, with people playing out roles instead of it being real. Link to comment
