lillady898
"One Good Love" and "Feels Like Today" by Rascall Flatts. Anything by Rascall Flatts, Keith Urban, Phil Vassar, Dierks Bentley, Neal McCoy, or Big 'N Rich puts a smile on my face, though. Other good ones: "Bye Bye" by Jo Dee Messina. "My Give A Damn's Busted" by Jo Dee Messina. "I Ain't Gonna Take It Anymore" by Faith Hill. "Don't" by Jewel. A couple of songs that are just awesome, but I can't stand to hear, are "Miss Me Baby" by Chris Cagle and "Stay With Me" by Josh Gracin. Unfortunately, I associate them with my ex. You can probably tell I'm pretty partial to a certain genre of music. Link to comment

Bingo72
That Chris Cagle song Miss Me Baby has helped me in enormous ways. It helped me keep the breakup fresh in my mind and face it head on instead of worrying about how we could make it work. Link to comment

octopus
"Power of Good Bye" by Madonna, as painful as it is, everything you need to remind yourself after a break up is in it. Your heart is not open so I must go The spell has been broken I loved you so Freedom comes when you learn to let go Creation comes when you learn to say no You were my lesson I had to learn I was your fortress you had to burn Pain is a warning that something's wrong I pray to God that it won't be long Walk away There's nothing left to try There's no place left to hide There's no greater power than the power of good-bye Your heart is not open so I must go The spell has been broken I loved you so You were my lesson I had to learn I was your fortress There's nothing left to lose There's no more heart to bruise There's no greater power than the power of good-bye Learn to say good-bye I yearn to say good-bye There's nothing left to try There's no more places to hide There's no greater power than the power of good-bye There's nothing left to lose There's no more heart to bruise There's no greater power than the power of good-bye Link to comment
