Autistic adult with neurotypical girl

I was diagnosed with autism recently. I am seeing a girl who lives in main land china.  She wants to have a video call with me. But being autistic causes me to have nothing to say.  I end up just sitting there.

 

What would you do if it was you?

Maybe do video calls when you particularly have something to talk about . My son is Autistic and he communicates when he has something to talk about other than that he can be very silent .

I would also tell her maybe text is easier for you.

Have you met in person? Is this a distance situation? Would you feel more comfortable talking to people in person?
