Is anyone else in this situation when their birthday comes around?

Mine's on a Tuesday. Why can't you meet friends on a Thursday? Or meet up on the following Friday?

I never do anything for my birthday anymore. My parents usually call me but yeah, no party, no real going out. When I was working, I didn't tell anyone at my job about my birthday because I hated hearing "Omg, why didn't you tell us. Omg we would have gotten you a card." Oh boy, more clutter for me.

 

I just don't see the point, you know? Birthdays mark the ticking of the clock. It's not something that particularly disturbs me (we will all die someday) but it's not something I see worth in celebrating for myself. Others, sure, you do you. I just don't care anymore.
