Not Asking

So there have been a couple times recently when my boyfriend just decides that I wouldn't want to do something without bothering to ask me first. For instance, last weekend his friend invited us through him to his birthday party. It was kinda late and I was at home, so instead of asking if I wanted to come with him, he just assumed I wouldn't want to go out that late and went without me. Something similar happened again today, and I told him that I really didn't appreciate him just making my decisions for me without asking me first. Because even if he was right and I didn't want to do it, it's just considerate to ask me before deciding for me. Am I crazy, or does this make sense?

It wouldn't kill him to take the time to ask you if you want to go somewhere, even if it is late. Just keep reminding him to ask you, that he should not assume one way or the other how you'd feel.
