He doesn't want to talk to me after an argument, what do I do now?

@Wiseman2, we might go on a break for a little while so he can sort his problems out, I said a break might help with that and he said we could try. I thought that it could improve our relationship too and he said we'll see about it and he just wants to feel more like himself again. He himself said he does want to stay in contact but I don't know what's the best thing to do.

Go no contact. If he reaches out he may be ready to talk then.

@wiseman2, when I asked him what he preferred to do last night he said he wants the space. I tried to talk to him still to kind of make a plan of how long no contact and everything, but he said he doesn't need or want to talk about it and that he just needs some alone time and space. My last messages we're asking him if he basically wants a short break from everything and me on his own, and that I'd give him his time and space. He never replied to this anymore though.
