San123
You don't really have to, but I think it would be sweet if you did. Link to comment
DN
yes, one or the other, but not both. Make it light and easy and give it to her a little casually so it doesn't look as if later on that night you will be pulling out an engagement ring. Link to comment
Jetta
I think it's sweet that you'd go out on Valentine's Day. And it would be extra special if you did give her a small gift (rose, chocolate, etc.). Have fun. Link to comment
Inconceivable
I think you should bring her a flower on a first date no matter what day of the year it is! Link to comment
Massari
where do you all think is a good place to go on a first date... we talk in classes bu not much... she is 18... Link to comment
DN
anywhere you can talk as opposed to watching other people do things - like movies Link to comment
peachents
Id recommend going out for a drink, great chance for conversation and the drink should help you both to relax! Link to comment
DN
She can't legally drink in Toronto at the age of 18 Link to comment
lady00
I guess if you're in Canada the drinking age is 18? Then go ahead and take her out for a drink, that would be fun...go to a nice lounge or something. Oh, i Just saw DN's post...didn't realize the drinking age was over 18, I thought the US was the only country like that... Link to comment
peachents
Crickey! It really is a lot different over there than the uk! Most girls drink in bars here from about 14 years of age. Link to comment
DN
but the legal age for drinking in the UK is 18 is it not? Link to comment
Massari
well drinking.. no.. but I am a little shy and I was thinking of the movie thing... I know it's typical .. but .. it gives you something to talk about ,, and then dinner.... what do you think? Link to comment
DN
not bad if you are going to dinner afterwards Link to comment
peachents
Yeah the legal age for drinking in the uk is 18. Just dinner is a good idea, save the movie for a later date. You can talk about each other! Link to comment
